ANNA - A Haunted theatrical experience.

Historic Crowe Manor sits in the country landscape of Carroll County, Arkansas. The home was once filled with the sound of children’s laughter, the blaring trumpets of 1940’s jazz, and the kind neighborly welcome of Mrs. Crowe herself, Annabelle. But those joyful days have long since passed. The walls have withered, the farm has overgrown, and the house is empty. Empty, but not quiet. The walls of Crowe Manor whisper the secrets of the past, but you’ll have to enter to hear their stories. Go on, step through the red door.

Genuine Ozark stories of witches, monsters, spook lights and ghosts, delivered by trained storytellers around the fire at our outdoor theatre. Concludes with a trip to the notorious “Morgue” at midnight.

If you are from the Ozarks, you may have heard some of these stories told by your grandma – but in our age of mass media these stories, unique to the region, are fast disappearing. This program is part of the 1886 Crescent Hotel’s mission to “preserve the irreplaceable.”
